 Great Lock |

| I don't seem to have a problem with this lock like the other reviewers. I have this lock on all of my toilets and they all work great. I remove them weekly when my cleaning ladies come so the don't have to fidget with them and they can clean better without them in the way. When I reapply them I make sure the suction cups are a little moist, then I press down were the screw is that holds the suction cup and I turn the lock. I do this for the upper suction cup and the lower one. I leave it for about 5 minutes without pulling on them so the suction cups really stick and then no problem! I try to keep the bathroom doors shut and I'm home all day with my little guy but there are times when my husband or my older son leave the door open. It is just peace of mind to know the toilet is locked because accidents happen in seconds!!! |

| I really like this item; I am surprised that other people gave it a poor review. I find it most helpful to put a little water on the suction cups, attach it to the toilet, then lock it. I let the water "dry" and not use it for awhile. Then the suction cups are secure and it stays in place. We use the toilet frequently, and quickly learned how to use it. I noticed that after a few weeks of use, the suction cups slowly get loose, but then I repeat the process right away. I would rather do this than have something permanently affixed. My daughter tried to get it loose a few times the first few days it was on, but then gave up because it would not budge. |

| My baby loves water and he tends to put his hands inside the WC. Since I have the lock, he has no chance of doing this, but what is important is, not that he no longer plays with water, is that I avoid the danger of his getting drown |

If you follow the installation instructions exactly, this lock stays pretty secure. Every now and then you have to re-attach it, but so what. It does its job, my 15-month-old used to love throwing all sorts of things into the toilet (including the cordless phone) and now is relegated to just flushing the toilet over and over and my portable electronics are all the better for it.
One tip, make sure you clean the toilet basin and suction cups with windex before installation -- it will attach more securely. |

| I have had four of the Sure Fit Toilet Locks for about 3 years. They work well when they stick to the water tank, but they fall off frequently. The suction cups for mounting to the tank do not hold the device in place for very long. Sometimes they come off during use - mostly when opening. Our children pull them off as well. Unfortunately, I usually find the device on top of the toilet or in the closet. My 8-month old pulls himself up by the lip of the toilet, so we have to be very vigilant that he doesn't fall in head first. Lastly, the spring loaded hinge does not consistently return the lock to the safe position (as it is designed to do) after the seat lid is closed. |
